How to approach this mandate

No application form. No CV portal. Read the position brief, then speak with Peter directly, under confidence.

The client is not named here. On an engaged mandate the client's hiring intent is commercially sensitive, so the organisation is identified to you under confidence in the first partner conversation — not published to their competitors.

The remit

Why this role exists now. And what it carries.

European enterprises are consolidating technology partners rather than adding them. That favours firms with genuine engineering depth and nearshore delivery — and it punishes those whose regional presence is a delivery footprint without a commercial front end.

The client is in exactly that position. Recent European acquisitions extended its Benelux client footprint and added nearshore engineering capacity, including a top-tier ServiceNow and Splunk practice. The infrastructure is integrated. What the region lacks is the person who converts that capability into signed enterprise contracts.

This is therefore an origination mandate, not a farming role. No book of business is handed over. The seat is the primary growth engine for net-new logos across banking and financial services, insurance, manufacturing, communications and life sciences, selling digital engineering, AI-enabled services, platform modernisation and managed delivery.

What the role carries

  • Own and exceed an ambitious net-new logo revenue target across Benelux, with a stated path to scaling that target year over year.
  • Identify, qualify and pursue net-new enterprise accounts across banking and financial services, insurance, manufacturing, communications and life sciences.
  • Lead the end-to-end commercial cycle — first conversation through commercial structuring, proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Hold a pipeline well in excess of target at all times and manage it with forecast rigour in CRM.
  • Sell the full portfolio: digital engineering, AI and machine learning, data and analytics, cloud transformation, and platform modernisation including ServiceNow and Splunk capability.
  • Construct joint go-to-market and co-sell motions with cloud hyperscalers and platform ISVs in the region.
  • Build and sustain CTO, CIO, CDO, COO and CPO relationships, navigating multi-threaded enterprise buying centres.
  • Protect trust and margin through a clean handoff into delivery, and feed competitor, pricing and sector intelligence back to regional and global leadership.

The brief

The challenge, the mandate, and the impact.

The challenge

Delivery capability in Benelux now exceeds commercial coverage. Acquisitions integrated the engineering base and the client footprint, but net-new origination has no senior owner, so the region under-converts against the firm's global capability.

The mandate

A Director-level origination seat covering Benelux, carrying a personal net-new logo number with full cycle authority from first conversation to signed contract, portfolio-wide selling rights across digital engineering, AI, data, cloud and platform modernisation, and hyperscaler and ISV co-sell ownership in region.

The impact

12 months
Net-new logo target delivered, a pipeline held well above target, and at least one reference-grade enterprise account closed and in clean delivery.
24 months
A repeatable Benelux motion with tested pricing and co-sell patterns, a defensible twelve-month pipeline, and a case for regional commercial leadership as the team scales.

The profile

Who closes this. And on what terms.

Critical

  • Personal closes at scale

Complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals you closed yourself, described with account, structure and value.

  • Services-led selling

Digital engineering, AI, data or transformation services — not product or SaaS motion transplanted into services.

  • A live regional network

Benelux enterprise executives who take your call this quarter, not five years ago.

  • Dutch

Native or fluent, plus professional English. The Benelux market is worked directly.

  • Board-level translation

Delivery economics and speed-to-value connected to the client's P&L, without a slide deck to lean on.

Differentiators

  • Existing hyperscaler or platform ISV sales relationships in region.
  • ServiceNow or Splunk commercial exposure.
  • Experience structuring managed-service or outcome-based contracts.
  • Comfort mentoring junior commercial hires as the region scales.

What the client offers

  • A regional growth mandate with genuine whitespace — the delivery capability is in place and under-sold.
  • Nearshore engineering depth in Eastern Europe behind every proposal, including a top-tier ServiceNow and Splunk practice.
  • Direct access to European leadership, with regional priorities shaped rather than received.
  • Uncapped commercial upside benchmarked to the Benelux enterprise market.
  • Hybrid working from the Netherlands, with the travel rhythm of a Benelux territory.

The approach

How this mandate runs. Partner-led, end to end.

01 · Day 0–1

Approach

You reach out — through this page, the Amsterdam line, or a confidential booking. No application form, no CV upload to a portal. The first conversation is about fit, not paperwork.

02 · Days 2–7

Partner conversation

Peter Post, the partner following up on this mandate, speaks with you directly. Origination records do not read from a CV, so the conversation goes straight to the deals you personally closed and how.

03 · Days 8–21

Client introduction

If the fit holds, Peter introduces you to the hiring client under confidence. You meet regional leadership, test the territory assumptions, and see the support structure behind the number.

04 · Days 22–35

Decision

The client decides. On a yes, Peter works the package — base, variable, ramp and counter-offer defence — with both sides. On a no, you get a direct debrief, not silence.
